fan blower?
The fan blower on my friends 2000 Ford Focus went out and we have no idea what is wrong. first the low speeds went then medium speeds, the finally all speed went!
it sounds like the resistor pack went out on the focus. since you lost one speed at a time i doubt it is the Fan Motor itself.
below is a thread that has step by step instructions on how to replace the resistor pack.
