Circulator Pump

Hot Water Boiler -yellow gas feed?

I had a new boiler installed and they tied zip tied the yellow gas line (insulated) to 1. a hot water feed pipe and
2. a black circulator pump. Both places reach temps in excess of 150 degrees and I was just wondering if this is safe and normal? THanks

It sounds like they used CSST piping. I would untie the piping and reattach it to something else or just let it hang out of the way. The yellow coating on the CSST piping is not designed for high heat applications & if it melts exposing the bare pipe then the viration of the pump may eventually cause a leak from abrasion.
